Class XI Standard
XI standard is the base for the main Board Exam. The syllabus mostly contains the fundamentals of the topics which are included in the XII standard. It is advisable for the students to work hard in XI for a better result in the XII.

Students preparing for class XI exam should strictly follow the syllabus to score good marks in the exam. 20% of the syllabus from XI Standard is included MHT-CET Exam.
XII Standard
The XII standard exam conducted by the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education or MSBSHSE is popularly known as the Maharashtra HSC Board Exam. The XII standard is a crucial stage for all students because the marks scored in the exam proves to be a turning point in every student’s career.

The Maharashtra State Board Syllabus For Class XII includes various topics which are designed keeping in mind the international standards of education. It is recommended that Students preparing for their Maharashtra Board HSC Exam should strictly follow the exam syllabus while studying.
MHT- CET
From 2016 onwards, admission to all Government and Private Medical and Engineering Colleges in Maharashtra will be through MHT-CET. Government and Private Engineering Colleges of Maharashtra will give admissions on the basis of a student’s performance in the Maharashtra common entrance test i.e. MHT-CET (PCM).
- MHT-CET (PCM) exam is of 200 marks of 3 hours duration.
- The paper will be based only on Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics of Std XII syllabus.
- Paper 1 consists of 50 questions of physics & chemistry each of 90 minutes duration with 1 mark for each correct answer.
- Paper 2 consists of 50 questions of mathematics of 90 minutes duration with 2 marks for each correct answer.
No marks are deducted if you give wrong answers.
