COURSE INFORMATION
JEE Main and advanced is considered to be one of the most difficult entrance exams among all.The syllabus of JEE comprises of 11-12 along with topics of higher difficulity level. The questions are of the MCQ type . It is an exam conducted in order to provide the students all over India with an opportunity to get themselves enrolled in IIT.
All over India, lakhs and crores of students appear for this entrance exam, but roughly around 10,000 students are selected to get themselves into IITs . Initially half of the students are filtered out in the first round itself, which is JEE Main. The remaining crowd then appears for JEE Advanced and then 70 – 80% are then filtered out to select students for IIT.
Clearing these exams requires in-depth knowledge of the subjects as well as proper interpretation of the question and finding of the correct answer in the given time.
However, the testing patterns of IIT-JEE and STD XII differ considerably. IIT-JEE checks the conceptual understanding along with the aptitude of the student. On the other hand, the STD XII Exam is a subjective exam which lay emphasis not only on understanding of the subject but also on paper writing and presentation skills.
The entrance exam will also provide all the competing students a fair chance as negative marking is also there, where a mark will be deducted for each of your wrong answers.
